Cover Reveal – IT SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME by Kylie Scott

Kylie Scott has a new book coming out!!! And it’s not just a one word title! Haha! Check out It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time.

“Addictive like all Kylie Scott books, you’ll swoon, laugh, ache, put your life on hold, and compulsively read until the wee hours of the night—only to reread the whole thing the next morning. Perfection!” – Katy Evans, New York Times bestselling author

Returning home for her father’s wedding was never going to be easy for Adele. If being sent away at eighteen hadn’t been bad enough, the mess she left behind when she made a pass at her dad’s business partner sure was.

Fifteen years older than her, Pete had been her crush for as long as she could remember. But she’d misread the situation—confusing friendliness for undying love. Awkward. Add her father to the misunderstanding, and Pete was left with a broken nose and a business on the edge of ruin. The man had to be just as glad as everyone else when she left town.

Seven years later, things are different. Adele is no longer a kid, but a fully grown adult more than capable of getting through the wedding and being polite. But all it takes is seeing him again to bring back those old feelings.

Sometimes first loves are the truest.

WEEK IN BOOKS – w/e 6/5/18

Week In Books is a feature where I catch you up on my week in the book world, whether it be new books I’ve one-clicked, books that have caught my eye, book-world news, reviews, and what I’ve been reading that week. I’d love to see your own Week In Books in the comments!

I’m still reading Love And Other Words by Christina Lauren at the minute. I haven’t had a lot of chances to read this week, and the one day I did get chance, I fancied a quickie so I read Rome’s Chance by Joanna Wylde instead (review for that below). I have been reading Love And Other Words though, and I’m loving it – it’s very emotion filled and I cannot wait to continue.

I still haven’t decided what I’m going to read next. I’m keeping this list from last week up so hopefully someone can give me some top recommendations from it.

Here’s a few suggestions from my collections… Truth Or Beard by Penny Reid, Taking Chances by Laura Farr, Six Of Hearts by LH Cosway, The Man In The Black Suit by Sylvain Reynard, Captive In The Dark by CJ Roberts, Preppy Part 3 by TM Frazier, Loving Mr Daniels by Brittainy C Cherry, Bullet by Jade C Jamison, and On The Island by Tracey Garvis Graves, just to name a few!

  • As I mentioned before, I read Rome’s Chance by Joanna Wylde this week, it’s book #6.6 in her Reaper’s series though can be read as a stand-alone! You can check out my review here!
  • I helped to reveal two covers this week, one is A Wish For Us by Tillie Cole (such a beautiful cover!!!) and the other is Playboy by Katy Evans – I live both Katy and Tillie’s books so I’m very excited for both!
  • Lesley Jones has put book 1 and 2 of her Carnage series into a box set which is available for a limited time and it’s just 2.99! Bargain!! Grab it while you can.
  • Pennies by Pepper Winters is FREE!!! I loved this book so you should definitely snap this up!!
  • For just 0.99 can you get The UnDomestic Goddess by the wonderful Sophie Kinsella! I read this book years ago and I loved it!!!
  • J Daniels has lowered the price of Sweet Addiction to just 0.99! I’ve heard amazing things about this series!
  • There’s a new release from Ilsa Madden Mills called I Dare You! This one looks HOT!!
  • A new author on the block who has already taken the book world by storm – Jessica Ruben has release her debut novel Rising! I think this is definitely an author to watch!
  • Single dad and hockey star Back In The Game by Meghan Quinn is just 0.99! Meghan’s books are hilarious!!
  • Another sale from Pepper WintersCrown Of Lies is just 0.99!
  • And probably my favourite bit of news for the week… Roomies by Christina Lauren is being made into a film!!! I am insanely excited about this!!!

Cover Reveal – A WISH FOR US by Tillie Cole

Wow! Take a look at this cover!! I didn’t even read the synopsis before adding this to my TBR because of how beautiful it looks! Check it out (with the synopsis) below.

From the author who brought you A Thousand Boy Kisses comes the new emotional novel, A Wish For Us.

A story of music. A story of healing. A story of love conquering all.

Nineteen-year-old Cromwell Dean is the rising star of electronic dance music. Thousands of people adore him. But no one knows him. No one sees the color of his heart.

Until the girl in the purple dress. She sees through the walls he has built to the empty darkness within.

When Cromwell leaves behind the gray skies of England to study music in the South Carolina heat, the last thing he expects is to see her again. And he certainly doesn’t expect that she’ll stay in his head like a song on repeat.

Bonnie Farraday lives for music. She lets every note into her heart, and she doesn’t understand how someone as talented as Cromwell can avoid doing the same. He’s hiding from his past, and she knows it. She tries to stay away from him, but something keeps calling her back.

Bonnie is the burst of color in Cromwell’s darkness. He’s the beat that makes her heart skip.

But when a shadow falls over Bonnie, it’s up to Cromwell to be her light, in the only way he knows how. He must help her find the lost song in her fragile heart. He must keep her strong with a symphony only he can compose.

A symphony of hope.

A symphony of love.

A symphony of them.

Cover Reveal – PLAYBOY by Katy Evans

Check out the cover and synopsis of Playboy, the next book in Katy Evans’ Manwhore series! I can’t wait for Wynn and Cullen’s story!

A brand new contemporary romance from New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans.

It started as a game.

We flirted. We played. Most importantly—we won.

Then I discovered who he was: Gambler. Famous playboy. Silver-eyed player who never plays to lose…

And my best friend’s soon-to-be brother in law, Cullen Carmichael.

He needed a good luck charm, I needed a distraction.

So we made a gamble and set off for Vegas—but pretty soon—I was in too deep.

My heart, soul, and body weren’t supposed to be part of the deal.

But somewhere between big wins and long nights, my house of cards started to tumble.

What was this devil with those piercing eyes doing to me?

I’d given up on love, but the wicked, all-in Cullen Carmichael was upping the ante and wouldn’t stop until he’d won it all.

Cover Reveal – MOGUL by Katy Evans

New Katy Evans book alert!!! Check out the cover and synopsis for Mogul, out May 31st!

He’s my most delicious secret.

The hot Suit I had a one-night stand with one evening.

I didn’t know anything about him, not even his name.

Only that we shared a taxi, and he was staying at the hotel where I worked.

We met in room 301. Where he commanded not only my body but my soul.

The next day he was gone and I only had a memory of him.

I could still taste his kisses, feel his demanding touch.

I searched for him for months. Daydreaming about him. Wondering if I’d ever find him.

Until the day I find myself staring face to face with his jeweled black eyes again.

He says lets keep it casual, and my heart knows that falling for this workaholic in a three-thousand-dollar suit is off the table.

Because he has a secret. One that’s a deal breaker for me.

My Suit has a name.

Ian Ford.

And this is our story.

I am a real life villain, truly. I drink sick amounts of Starbucks. Most of the time my hair smells like coffee. I was born in South Africa, and lived there for most of my childhood. I moved to Seattle just for the rain. Rome is my favorite place in the world so far, Paris comes in at a close second. I read and write more than I sleep. When I was eleven, I wrote an entire novel about runaway orphans, using only purple ink. I am addicted to Florence and the Machine and will travel to see concerts. I love scary movies and giraffes. I spend way too much time on Facebook. Meet you there?…
