Week In Books is a feature I’m bringing back and revamping where I catch you up on my week in the book world, whether it be new books I’ve one-clicked, books that have caught my eye, book-world news, reviews, and what I’ve been reading that week. I’d love to see your own Week In Books in the comments!
It’s been a busy week for me between school, work, getting prepared for the start of the half term holidays and Easter weekend, but I did manage to get some reading in! As you know this year I’ve gone crazy for Tiffany Reisz, and when she released a short story in an anthology, I snapped it up immediately. Unfortunately I’ve been so busy recently I’ve only just had chance to dive in, but I’m loving The Watermark which you can find in the Exposed Anthology and it’s only 99p! Bargain!
FUN FACT: The Watermark will be re-released in October as a full length novel called Picture Perfect Cowboy.
Next up, I’m torn between a few books. I have ARCs of Tiffany Reisz’s next novel The Chateau which is an Original Sinners novel about Kingsley (all the excites for this one!!!), Kitty French’s next book which she has written as Josie Silver. It’s called One Day In December and it’s supposed to be a feel good, romantic story like Love Actually, so I can’t wait to dive into this!! I also have The Boy And His Ribbon by Pepper Winters which I’ve heard is magnificent and will bring all the feels! And I have too many books I’d like to admit to on my Net Galley reading list that I really need to start getting through such as Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, Close Enough To Touch by Colleen Oakley, Love And Gravity by Samantha Sotto, and Shacking Up by Helena Hunting, amongst others! So as you can see, I’m in desperate need of help with choosing!
- Did you know that Colleen Hoover has been writing another book on Wattpad? Wattpad is a completely free app which you can download and read books as the authors write them! Many of our favourite books/authors started out on Wattpad so it’s a great place to read. Anyway, Colleen’s book, Maybe Now, is a spin off to her amazing book Maybe Someday, and it’s mostly about Ridge’s ex Maggie, but we get lots of Ridge, Sidney, Warren, and Bridgette too! It’s definitely worth a read.
- I finally got around to updating my Four Brits Book Fest page on my blog! FBBF is the book signing event I organise with my 4 fellow Avengers (our group nickname – we’re dorks!), you can see all about it over on the page, and also see the attending author list and a book from each author too!
- Katy Evans had a cover reveal for her next book, Mogul! It’s out in May and you can check out the synopsis and other info by clicking on the image below!
That’s all I’ve got for you this week, make sure you check back for the next Week In Books, and sign up to my blog to receive email updates!
