Emily Wayborn has made a decision.

She might not fully trust handsome and deadly Reeve Sallis, but he is the one person that gives her what she needs. With Reeve she can finally be herself. Submitting to him is the only thing keeping her grounded as the rest of her life falls apart. But the hotelier is a master at keeping secrets and as she continues her quest for answers someone is making sure she doesn’t find them.

Time is running out and she is questioning everything she thought she knew about friendship and love. She must now make an impossible choice that will determine if she will survive with her heart…or at all.

Man, oh man; what a freaking series!!!! Last year I became completely consumed by First Touch, and it immediately became one of my Top Books of 2015, so I literally couldn’t wait to read Last Kiss, especially after the massive cliffhanger we were left with! I have no idea how I managed to stay sane in the time it took for me to receive the second and final book in the First and Last duet series, but I dived right in almost as soon as it hit my kindle.

With continuation books, there’s always a worry that you wont remember what happened or who is who, but Last Kiss picked up literally as soon as First Touch ended, and it was really easy to jump back in and get swept away by the story again. I was straight back to being on the edge of my seat, not having any clue whatsoever what would happen. I continued to have no idea who to trust, no matter how desperately I wanted to trust certain people (Reeve!!!!) I just couldn’t the story was just so unpredictable.

There was one person, however, who I absolutely did not trust at all, and though I didn’t know if it was just me being paranoid, and that this person could end up being harmless, I became instantly nervous and tense whenever this character was around. Ugh, as odd as it may sound, I loved not knowing or trusting anyone. I loved being on edge and having no idea what was going to happen or who was going to come out on top, or even who was going to come out the end of it at all!

The writing was fantastic, as I’ve come to know and love from this author, and that, mixed with her ability to create a story weaved with so much intensity, eroticism, and nail-biting, spine-tingling excitement, is exactly why this is a 5 star series. Last Kiss was another gripping and addictive thrill ride from the hugely talented Laurelin Paige. The perfect end to an exhilarating and intensely sexy duet. You must read this series.

LAST KISS – Out Now!

NY Times & USA Today Bestselling author Laurelin Paige is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She is represented by Rebecca Friedman and Friedman Literary.
