Catch Up and Weekend Reads | Holly’s Hot Reads

Hi!! I have got so behind on everything bookish this last few weeks but I’ll be trying to get caught up this weekend. I have a fantastic 5 star review for you which I loved so, so much!! I’ve been crazy busy with all things school, college, and mummy, as well as an emergency dental appointment (OUCH!) that my reading time has been limited.

I devoured Lev by Belle Aurora last weekend; my 5 star review for this will be my next blog post, but I’m posting buy links here (UK eBook, US eBook) so you don’t delay in getting stuck into this book! It’s definitely a 2016 Top Read for me. I’ve also been listening to the audio book of Rusty Nailed by Alice Clayton while I’ve been doing housework. I’m enjoying being back with the Wallbanger and the rest of the gang, and I have a feeling something really sad is about to be revealed so I’m looking forward to tuning back in to that. (UK Audio, US Audio)

And now I thought I’d let you know what I’m planning on actually reading this weekend.

First up, I have the next gorgeous novel from Tillie Cole, which is titled A Thousand Boy Kisses, and releases on Tuesday (March 15th). It is a Standalone YA Tearjerker Romance which looks absolutely perfect. After that I’ll hopefully be diving into “Collared” by Nicole Williams, which releases March 22nd. This book looks equally as heartbreakingly beautiful, so I’m in for a fantastic (and cry-fest) weekend!

Let me know in the comments what your weekend read/s will be!

First Up…

A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole
Out Tuesday

One kiss lasts a moment.
But a thousand kisses can last a lifetime.

One boy.
One girl.
A bond that is forged in an instant and cherished for a decade.
A bond that neither time nor distance can break.
A bond that will last forever.
Or so they believe.
When seventeen-year-old Rune Kristiansen returns from his native Norway to the sleepy town of Blossom Grove, Georgia, where he befriended Poppy Litchfield as a child, he has just one thing on his mind. Why did the girl who was one half of his soul, who promised to wait faithfully for his return, cut him off without a word of explanation?
Rune’s heart was broken two years ago when Poppy fell silent. When he discovers the truth, he finds that the greatest heartache is yet to come.

Next Up…

Collared by Nicole Williams
Out March 22nd

When a seventeen-year-old girl vanishes,
A community is shaken.
Parents turn desperate.
Friends hold vigils.
And the boy who loves her searches.

When a year goes by,
The community is recovering.
Parents feel hopeless.
Friends feel helpless.
And the boy who loves her continues his search.

When ten years go by,
The community has forgotten.
Parents cling to the past.
Friends move toward the future.
And the boy who loves her . . .
Brings her home.

Jade Childs spent ten years in captivity, but now that she’s back, the real battle for survival begins. The media shadows her. Flashbacks haunt her. Her old life evades her. Her so-called new life rejects her. She spent too many years in the dark to recognize the light. She spent too long repressing her feelings to remember how to express them. She spent a decade abandoning hope and cannot dare letting it back into her life. Jade’s not just defined by what happened to her—she’s collared to it.

When the twenty-seven-year-old woman is found,
A community wants to know the story,
Parents want to forget the story,
Friends want to be a part of the story,
And the man who still loves her faces the greatest challenge yet: letting her go.

  1. I’m starting Take Me Home Tonight by Erika Kelly. I loved the first two books in the series so I am looking forward to this one. 🙂
