Colleen Hoover’s latest masterpiece is now available, and it’s a must read!!
Beloved #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover returns with an unforgettable love story between a writer and his unexpected muse.
Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day of her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.
I really hate writing reviews for this author. Why? Because how is it possible to describe just how much I love her stories? How could I ever do her books justice? I’m not one of those reviewers who is great with all those fancy, poetic words. I’m a fangirl. But fangirling just doesn’t seem enough when it comes to Colleen Hoover.
My connection to this book was immediate. Colleen Hoover has the best first liners ever, and the whole opening scene was fantastic. In fact, every scene was fantastic! There’s not a single part of this book I could fault. Yes, I knew what the twist would be fairly early on, but that didn’t take away any of the emotion or intensity when the secret was revealed to our heroine.
Ugh, I cried. My poor heart. Fallon’s poor heart. Even Ben’s poor heart! Books which make me feel are always by far my favourites, and this author never fails to bring all the feels to her books. November 9 had humour, heat, and heartbreak pouring off every page, and I could not get enough.
I really did love everything about this book: the storyline, the writing, the feels, the characters. And speaking of the characters, I had to double back to make sure what (or who) I’d just read about was real, because OMG!!! What an exciting and unexpected development that was!! My Origional CoHort heart was filled just a little bigger from that.
So should you read this book? Ugh, yes! There’s absolutely no doubt; if Colleen Hoover’s name graces the cover, you should always read it! She truly is the Ultimate.
