Title: Sharing You
Series: Sharing #1
Author: Molly McAdams
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Age: New Adult
Twenty-three year old, Kamryn Cunningham has left all she’s ever known and moved to a small town where no one knows her name, who her parents are, or her social status in the horseracing world. Months after opening her own bakery and evading attempts of being set up by her new best friend, she meets Brody. Kamryn fights the instant pull between them because there’s a detail she can’t dismiss. Brody’s married.
To say that twenty-six year old, Brody Saco has had a rough marriage would be an understatement. After marrying his pregnant girlfriend, he spends the next six years in a relationship filled with hatred, manipulation and guilt involving a tragedy that happened five years earlier. When he keeps running into his sister-in-law’s best friend, Kamryn, he can’t ignore that she makes him feel more with just one look than his wife ever has and soon he can’t continue fight his feelings for her.
When staying apart proves to be too difficult, Brody and Kamryn enter a relationship full of stolen moments and nights that end too soon while they wait for Brody to file for divorce. But the guilt that comes with their relationship may prove to be too much for Kamryn, and Brody might not be strong enough to face the tragedy from his past in order to leave his conniving wife.
My heart always gets a little scared when I start a new book by Molly McAdams. She’s known for her crazy twists that can make or break her readers, and though there are some emotional scenes in this book, my heart thankfully came out of it in one piece.
I loved the start of this book because it let us know Kamryn’s backstory right away, and it leaves you with absolutely no questions as to why she makes the decision to start her life over. And it’s in her new life that she meets Brody. Now, you may have already met Brody in the previous book CAPTURING PEACE, but if not then it really doesn’t matter. Everything you need to know about him is in this book, so you don’t miss out on anything,
SHARING YOU was interesting one because not only is the story about Kamryn and Brody, but it’s also about Olivia. Olivia is one of those characters that you love to hate. She. Is. Crazy. And I’m talking certifiably crazy!! She definitely brings the majority of the drama to the story and I loved that, though I think I would have liked to see even more of Brody and Kamryn.
They’re suffering from a case of love at first sight (and because of Brody’s marital status, yes, ‘suffering’ is the right word) and though they try, the connection they feel is just too strong to deny. I have to be honest and say that as a reader, I didn’t feel what they had, and I think their relationship, bond, and attraction could have come across stronger if there had been more of a focus on them instead of Olivia, but like I said before, I did love Olivia’s part in this story.
Now, I know that just the look of the synopsis will scare some people. A lot of readers are anti cheating/love triangles, but im can’t say I’ve ever had that problem. And even if I did, it’s so blindingly obvious that Brody and Olivia were not meant to be together. In fact, part of me couldn’t really justify his reasons for staying with her so long because she was just that awful, but it did add to the story.
This was a really quick, enjoyable read for me. I’m really hoping that Molly gives some of the supporting characters their own books because I absolutely loved Kinlee and Jace. Though it is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone, which is always great for when you’re in the mood for a quickie. And while your mind is in the gutter, I need to add that Molly sure can write the sexy times! Brody is HOT!!
As always, I’m looking forward to seeing what this author has for us next.

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. When she’s not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm … or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren’t really happening.
